The Children of Ecuador Foundation strives to provide quality education and opportunity for the children of La Florida and Bahia de Caraquez, Ecuador. Through a combination of fundraising events, student leadership from Spruce Grove Composite High School, and public/private donations, the Foundation provides scholarships for students to attend private school, improve living conditions for families, and initiate building projects.
The world is at a crucial junction. Our generation has the resources and ability to wipe out extreme poverty, but this can only be done by taking action and raising awareness of what life is like for over 1 billion human beings.
